The major research is to design, synthesize and characterize a new class of hybrid polymeric-metal composite materials offering a source of inspiration for new discoveries across the sciences. Molecular solutions to challenges such as global warming, environmental pollution, or solar energy conversion are in high demand. Polymeric-metal composite materials have enormous potential to solve these challenges, but new and selective methodologies are needed for efficient implementation.
